How to Become More Memorable This Week

Life can be hectic! How can you stand out from the weekly blur and make yourself (and your services!) more memorable?

You’ll make it much easier for new, potential, and even old clients to remember you and your services if you:

Make the First and Last Things You Say Count.

When it comes to sharing who you are and what you do with people, be strategic with what you say. Studies show that when people hear someone speaking, they tend to remember the first and last piece of information they encounter. Likewise, beware of information overload. People only have so much time; strive to keep your communication clear and to the point.

Repeat Yourself (within Reason).

Say your name clearly each time you meet someone for the first time. Mention your services more than once, if time allows. People may not hear what you’re saying the first time, especially in noisy or busy settings. Once you establish a connection with people, reach out to them regularly to check in and remind them about your services.

Express Sincerity and Interest

Spend time getting to know people and let them get to know you! Practice active listening. Find out what you have in common with others, as well as what you can learn from them. The more personable you are, the more likely people will remember you down the road.

Be Accessible.

Make it easy for people to connect with you. Let them know how they can find you and communicate with you in the future. For example, consider sharing your SYNCIS Pro website with people. That way, when old or new clients want to contact you, they can refer to your page to find your information.
