Take Care of Your Physical Health. 

Physical stress translates to mental stress. Studies show that healthy lifestyle habits are key if you want to reduce your stress and increase your level-headedness. Eat a balanced diet; hunger, too much caffeine, and too much sugar are all known to contribute to mood swings. Likewise, stay active throughout your week. Find a routine that works for you! Even a simple walk for fifteen minutes can do wonders for your mind and body. When you feel better in your body, you think with more clarity throughout your day. 

Take Care of Your Mental Health. 

Remember to rest your mind, not just your body! Get adequate sleep. When people are tired, stressed, or unsatisfied, they can start to make poor decisions. Our minds and bodies are not meant to run 24-7. Schedule time to rest and recover into your week; you will perform better during your working hours! If you are not mentally replenished, you may say or do things as a result of burnout that you later regret. 

Take Care of Others. 

Approach others with empathy. Come from a place of service in all that you do. In this way, your support network will grow stronger and more long-lasting. When you are already in a helping mindset, you are more likely to feel open and ready to problem solve, instead of being indignant, overwhelmed, or unconfident. Feeling crabby and not your usual upbeat self? If you are having a hard time supporting the people in your network, it may be a sign you are drained and would benefit from refilling your own cup.
